I’m just so crazy with the flip corner or the “Dogear” image such as the Page Peel as you can see on the top right corner of this site, so I’ve made my own photoshop video tutorial on how you can create a corner peel image or banner that will look like below:

Here’s the step-by-step ‘Corner Peel Image‘ video tutorial..
Instructions:
1. Let’s start with creating a new document, with 400px by 200px with white
background color.

2. Now, using the Rectangle Tool, draw a shape with any color you want. (mine
is blue)

3. Go to the layer and click on the title, rename it to
“rectangle”.
4. Then go to Layer on the tab—> Rasterize —> Layer.
5. Next, select the “pen tool” and draw a triangle:

6. A new layer will be created so rename the layer to “triangle”.
7. Now, select “Elliptical Marquee Tool” from tools and create a
rounded shape on the triangle shape just like below:

8. Then go to tab—-> click Edit —> Cut:

9. Press CTRL + D on your keyboard to deselect the marquee.
10. Still on the same layer, go to tab —> select Layer —> Layer Style —>
Blending Options..and apply to it the following settings:
…so you will have a flip image:

11. Select Move Tool from tools and drag the flip image onto the corner of rectangle
shape:

12. Select the rectangle layer then go to tools and select the Eraser Tool.
Go to Brush Preset picker and select Hard Round 9 pixels:

13. Now erase the left over corner:

14. Add your text, and you are done!

Download the .psd file here.
And you could use the flip image on any image you want:

Also get yourself a Page Peel Script (demo on top right corner on this page) for just $8. Click for more info…
