Instruction On How To Use The Action Script

1. Make sure to Unzip the file first.
Open up the Actions palette in Photoshop. You should find something that looks like this:

2. Select the button in the top right corner of the action palette. A drop down menu should appear. Select ‘Load Actions..’.

3. Now just find the place on your computer where eCoverAction.atn is currently residing, and select the file. Press “OK”

4. It should now appear in your actions palette. Extend the eCoverAction folder, and select ‘Template’. Hit the play button in the lower edge of the window.

This should create the following template.

5. Go ahead and design your eCover!

6. After completed designing the ecover, go back to your Actions Palette, and this time select Action 1. Press Play again to transform your ecover into a 3D ecover:

What will you get with the Click and Drag Graphics Package:

1. Starter Templates

These “starter templates” are simple blank templates with a few subtle “effects” that spice them up. Even though these templates are simple, they look very professional with their subtle effects.

Text – already preformatted with the proper font, size, and layer style effects. Just drag it over to your header or cover, change the text to your own product or site name, and you’re done.

Text Bars, Squares, Circles, Stars, and Corners – these are the little shapes that go behind your text to make it stand out more and give it emphasis.

Horizontal Bars – These go across your whole header or cover to divide them into portions or to give that finishing touch.

All of these objects come on their own layers and are completely customizable. So you can resize them, rotate them, change their colors, change the text to what ever text you want, etc.. You can customize them to your liking.

3. Layer Styles

Layer styles add an effect to your layers with one click. So if you want your text to look “cool”, you can add a spicy effect to it by simply clicking on one of the layer styles. Just type your text, click on the layer style button, and your text will get an effect. Max has compiled and created all of the cool text effects you can find on all of the popular designs out there.

4. eCover Action Scripts

Max has recorded the steps he took to turn 2D covers into 3D covers. So all of the distort, resize, and other commands got recorded and can be played back with just a few clicks, and turn a 2D cover into 3D in seconds.

So basically, you start with a blank template or a “starter template. You then create your own design. And finally you play the eCover action of your choice and the cover turns into 3D right before your eyes.

5. Other Templates

In addition to the Starter Templates in Module 1, you will also get templates for all kinds of other mini site graphics like order buttons, footers, backgrounds, and even simple HTML mini site templates. So you’ll be able to create all the graphics for your mini site with the packag.

6. Video Tutorials

This package comes with easy to follow, step-by-step, screen capture video tutorials. Everything is broken down for you in simple terms, so even if you’re a complete newbie you’ll be able to get started right away.

Go to Click and Drag

These scripts will do the job for you automatically. Just follow these steps:

1. Download the script and unzip it.

2. Open your photoshop. Then press Alt + F9 on your keyboard. This will open the the action box.

3. Click the small arrow on the right and choose load actions.

4. Find the the action scripts and press load.

5. You can see the script is in your action box.

6. Expand it by clicking the small arrow on the left and select step 1. Then select ‘play’.

7. A template will open. Design your ebook (add title, pictures, color..yadee..yadaa…) anyway you like..

8. The final step is to select the step 2 and click play..and wait for a sec and walla!…your new ebook cover:)
