Content, appearance, usability & visibility are the basic web design principles & aspects which should always be kept in mind while preparing a commercial web design. Once you are over with this phase, you should search for a best domain host for registration of your website that is providing services compatible to your requirements. Usually it is included in the package provided by webhosting net companies. Apart from this, on line website building, free blogs and forums, e carts, free email accounts are also offered by these web hosting services providers. Due to increasing competition in the market more or less all of them are giving cheap web hosting services.

25 Reasons You Might Be A Hardcore Graphic Designer
Oct 24, 2007 Photoshop, Uncategorized
Haha…got this from cg-files.com, list of signs that you might be a hardcore designer. I don’t consider myself as a hardcore designer but some of these do happened to me.
- You’ve almost rear-ended the car in front of you because you were analyzing a font on a billboard.
- You get pissed when a free Photoshop brush you download is less than 1000px in size.
- You’d rather study the paisley pattern on your boyfriend/girlfriend’s shirt than listen to what he/she has to say.
- You can use keyboard shortcuts at light speed, blindfolded, but you can’t type a paragraph of text without staring at the keyboard.
- You’ve had “Software Nightmares,” when you’ve been working way too much.
- You consider meals interruptions.
- You’ve learned your lesson and stopped using the word “final” in any file name when saving.
- You clean your keyboard more often than you wash your car.
- You’ve intentionally given up trying to explain your projects to non-designers.
- You see CMYK and RGB like Neo sees the Matrix.
- You’d rather organize your desktop than your sock drawer.
- When you heard that Adobe was acquiring Macromedia, you had a Design Orgasm.
- When you look at Album art all you see are grunge Photoshop Brushes. (Then you see the album art a couple minutes later)
- You’ve Photoshopped out a watermark for a comp or mock-up.
- You’ve actually $paid for a font.
- You’ve totally slaughtered a great design concept because the client thinks he/she knows best. (everyone thinks they are a designer)
- The amount of words you’ve written with a sharpie labeling burned discs total more than the amount of words you’ve read in novels.
- You’ve had to explain to a client that a layered file wasn’t part of the deal.
- You’ve kept a ragged concert ticket just so you could scan it.
- You’ve nicknamed the OSX spinning wheel. (and not affectionately)
- You bookmark a resource more often than you have a fun night out on the town.
- You’ve intentionally overbid a project because you can sniff out a bad client from a mile away.
- You can’t go to a restaurant without secretly critiquing the menu design.
- You have an amazingly huge font collection, and an amazingly short temper.
- If you had a penny for every mouse click, you would have been a trillionaire 3 years ago
Watch out for a new tutorial soon..

AdesClrPIcker – An Excellent Color Picker
Sep 5, 2007 Graphics, Photoshop, Tips and Tricks, Tools
Do you want to know what color codes does a website use and want to capture the colors
so that you can use them on your website or design?
All you have to do is open your Photoshop, wait it to load, press Ctrl+PrintScreen on your keyboard to capture the screen, paste it into Photoshop, select the color picker and hover it to the color you want on the image. So everytime you want to capture colors you need to open photoshop and do the same things all over again. This seems like a lot of work.
Why waste your time? there’s another easy way of capturing colors. With AdesClrPicker tool, you don’t have to wait for
Photoshop to load anymore. It is small and very fast color picker tool. It installs into your systemtray on your desktop and just with a single click of the mouse it captures the colors anywhere on the screen.

Click & Drag The Easy Way
Aug 30, 2007 Cool Stuff, E-Cover, PS Action Scripts, PS Video Tutorials, Photoshop, Photoshop Video Tutorial, Templates, Tips and Tricks, Tutorials, Uncategorized
Ok, you download an e-cover action script, load it to your photoshop. You spend 2 hours try to design killer e-cover but all you get is an ugly e-book cover. Well, Max is going to teach you the secret to creating stunning ecovers, he’s also going to give you all the action scripts, ready-to-use graphics and text, ecover samples and much more. You can just click and drag each of these elements into your own designs in second. The result! incredibly professional e-cover that you could create in just 15 second!!
What will you get with the Click and Drag Graphics Package:
1. Starter Templates
These “starter templates” are simple blank templates with a few subtle “effects” that spice them up. Even though these templates are simple, they look very professional with their subtle effects.
You get starter templates for headers in 3 different sizes (650, 700, and 750 pixels wide) and each cover shape (ebook, box, cd, report, ezine, member card, etc.). With all these different variations, you’ll be getting hundreds of templates to choose from.
2. Click And Drag Objects
This module is what makes this package so easy to use and so unique. No other package offers anything like these Click & Drag objects. With these Click & Drag objects you can literally create a professional and eye catching design for your site in minutes.
You get all kinds of Click & Drag objects to choose from like:
Text – already preformatted with the proper font, size, and layer style effects. Just drag it over to your header or cover, change the text to your own product or site name, and you’re done.
Text Bars, Squares, Circles, Stars, and Corners – these are the little shapes that go behind your text to make it stand out more and give it emphasis.
Horizontal Bars – These go across your whole header or cover to divide them into portions or to give that finishing touch.
All of these objects come on their own layers and are completely customizable. So you can resize them, rotate them, change their colors, change the text to what ever text you want, etc.. You can customize them to your liking.
3. Layer Styles
Layer styles add an effect to your layers with one click. So if you want your text to look “cool”, you can add a spicy effect to it by simply clicking on one of the layer styles. Just type your text, click on the layer style button, and your text will get an effect. Max has compiled and created all of the cool text effects you can find on all of the popular designs out there.
4. eCover Action Scripts
Max has recorded the steps he took to turn 2D covers into 3D covers. So all of the distort, resize, and other commands got recorded and can be played back with just a few clicks, and turn a 2D cover into 3D in seconds.
So basically, you start with a blank template or a “starter template. You then create your own design. And finally you play the eCover action of your choice and the cover turns into 3D right before your eyes.
5. Other Templates
In addition to the Starter Templates in Module 1, you will also get templates for all kinds of other mini site graphics like order buttons, footers, backgrounds, and even simple HTML mini site templates. So you’ll be able to create all the graphics for your mini site with the packag.
6. Video Tutorials
This package comes with easy to follow, step-by-step, screen capture video tutorials. Everything is broken down for you in simple terms, so even if you’re a complete newbie you’ll be able to get started right away.
7. Graphics Swipe File
You’ll get over a hundred of Max own favorite designs that he has done for his clients (covers, headers, order buttons, footers, and backgrounds). This swipe file will save you countless hours of frustration and “being stuck” for ideas again.
8. Resources
Max will be sharing with you his favorite design related resources like:
-
Where he get his stock images from.
-
Where he get his fonts.
-
Where he get his ideas for designs.
-
A cool place to get hundreds more layer styles, patters, brushes, textures, and more.
-
And much more…
This resource module will save you hours of trial and error time trying to locate all of these places on your own.
And MORE..
This is a complete design package. I highly recommend for newbies in graphics design to get this package as you can experiment with the graphics, use it in your design and plus, your clients will be impressed;)
DVD Case Template
Aug 25, 2007 E-Cover, Graphics, Photoshop, Templates
So nice of manicho for releasing his real and stylish DVD case template. This would come handy if you are planning to have cover for your products. Do not mistaken, this is not an action script. You would have to tweak the layers yourself. If you want to change the box color, look on the “dvd case” group and tweak them with Hue/Saturation.

Speed Painting or Fast Foward Painting?
Aug 10, 2007 Graphics, Photoshop, Videos

You may have seen one of several popular YouTube videos of Nico Di Mattia and other great graphics designers creating photo-realistic portraits in photoshop that, thanks to time lapse video, appear to been done in minutes. According to Wikipedia, speed painting is an exercise, primarily digital, in which one paints on a time budget, using already developed methods to create a piece. Contrary to (somewhat) popular belief, “Speed Painting” is not the same as a time-lapse video of a painting.
The video of John Locke painting by Nico Di Mattia showed the painting was done less than 6 minutes, but actually the real time took 4 hours. So Nico Di Mattia’s paintings do not fall directly under the speed painting category, they are commonly associated with it due to the time-lapsed nature of the video. I would call it a fast foward video painting. But if I were able to paint John Locke in photoshop, it would take a month to finish it. So how did Nico Di Mattia paint in less a day?
To be able to paint like him, you need a graphic tablet with a cordless pen and a cordless mouse, that plugs into a USB port. Using a pen rather than a mouse for drawing on a computer give you the feel like you’re drawing naturally and makes creating fine detail much easier.

Head over to his website to see the techniques, tools, and tricks he uses.
And watch his latest 6.05 minutes speed painting videos of Bumblelee which the painting was done in 19 hours of working…amazing!
And another video by Spacepaintings which was done in 1 minute,
and what category shall this type of painting goes into do you think?
Speed spray painted painting? fast spray painting?
